how do i thread up my 1.65 m Zebico fishing rod with a fixed reel?
just how do i do it it came with a float thing a line and some hooks!
and some float assosiments
Hmmm…normally a Zebco comes with the line already on the reel. So, I think your asking how to set up the fishing pole. I will give you something to start with. First get the line through the eyes (circles on the pole) so that your line goes through it. Then when you have about 3 feet or about 1 meter of line out of the end, tie a hook on the end of your pole. The weights that came with it, are normally split shot, so you squeeze them on the line about 8 inches up..about 20 cm. Over that you want the float to be attached to the line making the whole thing about 2 feet or about…maybe 1/2 meters from float to hook.
To get the line through the eyes first you have to take the front part of the reel off, it will unscrew counter clockwise if the fishing line is inside, normally it will already be in a position where you can just hit the button on the back and release the line. I haven’t bought a new zebco in a while, but normally there is a split ring tied so that you can do this. Then take the split ring off, and feed it through the eyes. starting at the back and go through the front.
